Happy Friday, y’all. We made it through another week! And it’s time for another edition of Weekly Peace Friday.
This week’s tip is don’t overload your schedule. I always notice my stress levels rise so much faster when I am trying to do too many things at once. I will make a to-do list with WAY too many items on it for one day, and somehow think that I can accomplish those things. Then, when I don’t, because there just isn’t enough time in the day, I feel like a failure and completely frazzled.
It’s so not worth it. Sound familiar? I feel your pain.
So here is my advice. Write a to-do list and have a schedule, but be realistic about how long each thing on your list takes and actually give yourself the proper amount of time to do it. This way, you’ll even enjoy each thing as you accomplish it, and you will know when to move something to the next day’s list. Not everything has to be done in one day. We have multiple days in a week to work with, and eventually you will get to everything. Allow yourself the peace in your days to enjoy life and not hurry through all of your tasks. Take them one at a time and enjoy the little things while you do them.
We cannot do it all at one time, but we can do a few things really well each day. Quality over quantity as they say. Peaceful heart over stressful mind any day, as I say 😉

Very good advice! Stick to it. Enjoy the day and each thing you are doing. I agree. I move things every day to a new day. Eventually, most things get done but some things just drop off the list because they weren’t that important to me.
You have the right idea. Slow……… down!!! Live in the moment and enjoy what God has made. 🙂 Love you!
