You guys! I nearly missed celebrating TEN YEARS in business today! 🎉🙌🩵 I think that’s what can happen after so long working at the same thing…it can start to all run together and the magic can start to fade.

So today, I thought I might as well share my raw, unfiltered thoughts in this very moment.

After 10 years of running this business, am I where I thought I’d be? Absolutely not. Am I rich? Not even close 😂. Am I still keeping this train running without any employees? Yep!

BUT, I am stronger, wiser, braver than ever. I have learned what true patience is. I have grown in ways I never even imagined. I have the blessing of time (thanks to my husband who is our financial stability). Time flexibility, time to focus on what truly matters to me, time to dream big and take the steps to make it happen. Time to cook thoughtful dinners and host holidays for family. Time to put energy into trying to grow our family.

Being a business owner 10 years later is honestly nothing like I imagined back in 2015. My journey has been a lot rougher than I thought it would be. I haven’t gone viral or hit the sweet spot yet on marketing. I’m still over here figuring it out day by day. All this to say, if you believe in something deep down, keep going. The sweet spot may just be right around the next turn 🙌
