Hi y’all! It’s been an exciting time around here these last few months preparing this awesome planner for you guys! Everything that I could think of to put into a planner that would work well for you, is IN THIS BABY. So much so, that it needed a super blog post to show you everything. Hopefully this will answer any questions you may have, but make sure you’re following along on Instagram @ashleyshelly for the most current updates on products.

Let’s start with the basics!

When and where can I buy it? Launch day is September 2 at 10AM EST right here on ashleyshelly.com.

What dates does this planner run? The 2016 calendar year. January-December 2016. (It officially starts on December 28, 2015 though)

How many cover designs are available? 3! White & Navy Dot, Aqua Glam, and Classic Geo.

What is the cover (back and front) like? The cover is super thick and does not bend! It will easily last all year and take on all of the use you can give it.

What is the size? Inside pages are 6″x9″ and the cover is 6.625″x9.25″ plus the width of the binding.

What is the inside paper weight? The paper is super thick at 80# text weight. Tabs are laminated and on a thick cardstock.

Is there a pocket? Yes! There is a great pocket for loose items inside the front cover.

What is the layout for the main pages of the planner? Weekly format. One week on each 2-page spread when the planner is open.

Are there monthly view spreads? Yes!

Is there a 2016 Yearly Overview calendar? Yes!

Is there a list of holidays and are they marked on the monthly and weekly spreads? Yes!

Is there a meal planning option on the weekly spreads? Yes!

Are there notes pages? Yes! Each month has a 2-page spread of notes pages. One with long lines and one with short lines to best fit your needs.

Are there planner tips included? Yes! There is a letter from me in the front that gives helpful tips on how to use the planner to get the most out of it.

How is it bound? Each planner has a gorgeous silver wire-o binding.

Does it have protective corners for durability? Yes! It has beautiful silver metal corners to match the binding for style and protection from any drops that may happen.

What are the extra features that make this planner so special and different from others?
-There are exclusive Creative spreads each month to help you plan out your very BEST days! (pictures below) I LOVE this part so much!
-Perforated corners to remove on the bottom of each page as you go through the year to create a built-in bookmark. No bookmarks needed unless you want one for fun!

The monthly view includes the full month with holidays marked, light lines within each day for easy writing, mini calendars for the previous and following months, and an area for notes down the left side.

The Creative spread is the BEST, seriously. This area is meant to help you think and plan for your best days. Taking the time to sit down with this before each new month starts will make such a difference in your days. It’s simple enough to be easy to fill out, but full of heart and so meaningful.

The Notes spread is great for writing down anything you want to keep track of, journal about, list, etc. You can completely customize this spread and make it work for you!

The main weekly spreads are where you’ll spend the most time. This is where you can plan your schedule and to-dos for the week. Seeing the whole week in one space makes it easier to keep track of everything and be prepared for your days. Holidays are marked, there is a section for notes, a spot to plan dinner, and a place to re-write your monthly word so you can focus on it and live it out!

This side view is just a print proof, so the corners are missing here as well as the inside navy blue material, but this shows you the thickness of the cover. Love!

And I couldn’t create a planner without some amazing STICKERS to decorate it with and mark your special days! Each planner comes with 1 sheet of these in the back of the planner bound right in. You can remove the page for easy use or leave it in. Totally up to you! 🙂
