Happy Friday y’all! I hope your week is coming to a close in a positive way and you know what, even if it’s not, do something you truly enjoy this weekend to make up for a hectic week if you had one of those.
Which brings me to this week’s peaceful tip: do something effortless!
Do you know that feeling you get when you are just existing effortlessly in the moment and you are happy? We all have these moments even if we may not take note at the time of what is really happening. That’s how it should be in this case though, just being in that moment without trying. For me, some of those moments have been doing things like sitting on my front porch when the weather is nice in one of my white rocking chairs (am I officially old now? haha), swinging on a swing at the park and feeling the wind in my face, fishing somewhere beautiful, watching children playing and being silly, or playing a song on my guitar that I know by heart without having to think about the notes.
What are those moments for you? What environment are you in when you feel like you can exist effortlessly and be completely wrapped up in happiness? Think about what those moments are for you and create one this weekend. Put yourself in the right situation and mindset to be fully in the moment without a care otherwise.
It is such an amazing feeling and a gift you can give to yourself! Don’t forget to do it because you deserve it!
